Next term, the Bundesliga will not only be without Thomas Müller’s supreme talent, but also his comedic timing, which was evident during his final season with Bayern Munich.
Animals have also helped relieve the tension, whether it be pigeons on the pitch at the Allianz Arena, mice scuttling across the turf at Mainz’s Mewa Arena, or Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitiké getting to grips with club mascot Attila the eagle.
