The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a two-year extension to the contract that was due to expire in June 2027 before joining Bremen where he will provide cover for Victor Boniface, who faces several months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on his knee on Saturday.
“We are delighted to have signed Jovan,” said Peter Niemeyer, Werder’s head of professional football.
“He is a young, talented striker who developed very well during his last loan spell at Partizan Belgrade. He fits the profile we are looking for perfectly.”
